Business mentor and needlework artist, Carla Thompson, went from that first lemonade stand to business college with an accounting focus to receiving an entrepreneurial grant that allowed her to create a handmade gift shop kiosk in a public market. Sweet's Curio was born, an homage to her grandmother's curio cabinet full of proudly displayed treasures created from the hearts and hands of the grandchildren.
Since retiring as a craft market vendor and onsite fibre artist/needlework teacher/events manager at an art studio & gallery, Carla supports heart-centred solopreneurs, creative souls and small business owners in building strong business foundations, with a focus on organized bookkeeping systems.
